Course Overview

Four days hands-on training workshop is designed for individuals who plan to deploy and manage a Cloud. Workshop will explain the possible scenarios where Cloud can be deployed in an organization. Three aspects of cloud planning, deployment and administration shall be covered in detail using OpenStack based cloud operating system. This will enable participants to configure OpenStack based Cloud. The workshop will also enable the participants to manage Cloud resources and user accounts within the Cloud, perform management and maintenance of the Cloud as well as troubleshoot the issues relating operational Clouds.

Our Trainer

Dr. Anjum Naveed has Bachelors of Engineering degree in Software Engineering for NUST, Pakistan (2003) and PhD in Networks from UNSW, Australia (2008). He is the recipient of undergraduate Gold Medal, merit scholarship and research scholarship for PhD studies. He has been working at NUST, Pakistan as Assistant Professor since 2008 and is associated with UM, Malaysia as Post Doc. Researcher. His research interests include wireless networks, network performance optimization and mobile cloud computing. He has more than ten years of experience dealing with the real problems of telecom industry. His specialty is the computer systems and networks related industrial project planning and execution. He has worked on a number of industrial research projects as team leader with aggregate research funding exceeding USD 600,000.
